Baton Music may process personal data about you, because you make use of the services of Baton Music and /or because you provide it yourself when filling in an order or you sign up for a newsletter.

Why Baton Music needs data and how long data is saved.
Baton Music processes your personal data in order to be able to contact you in writing (by e-mail and / or by post). In addition, virtually all orders placed through our website are verified for processing by you as the orderer. In addition, Baton Music may use your personal data in the context of performing an agreement of assignment concluded with you.
With some regularity we send (through an external partner) newsletters to the address you have provided. This e-mail address with your first and last name is stored at te external provider. In these newsletters you are offered the possibility to prevent future sending of newsletters by unsubscribing via the link UNSUBSCRIBE.
We appreciate if our customers like to receive our newsletters but always do respect if they unsubscribe.
In the context of order processing, the personal data you provide are recorded in a billing / customer management application. This application is an off-line system and is in no way accessible via an internet connection. The PC in question is password-protected and provided with up-to-date anti-virus software.
Baton Music does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. The tax authorities prescribe that an administration must be kept for 7 years.
You do not have to register and / or subscribe to order on the Baton Music website. This implies that with every new order data from you must be passed on to us again, but also that your data will not be stored online.
Payments
Baton Music uses various options for payments. You can purchase on account (for existing customers and customers within the EU, Switzerland and Norway) or you indicate to pay by credit card, with PayPal or with IDEAL. All these payments are handled by an external Payment Service Provider (PSP). As all of our partners this PSP is GDPR compliant.
Sharing data with others
Baton Music will only provide your personal data to third parties in order to comply with a legal obligation. Your data will not be made available to others for any other reason other than because you yourself have determined by providing in connection with an order or service or obtaining information from us. Your information will also NOT be made available to third parties for a fee or for payment.
Google Analytics
Baton Music uses Google Analytics to keep track of how users use the website. The information thus obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Read Google's privacy policy for more information. You will also find the privacy policy of Google Analytics there. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Baton Music has no influence on this.
Baton Music has not granted Google permission to use Analytics information obtained via Baton Music for other Google services.
Right of consent withdrawal
You may withdraw your consent for collecting your personal information at any time. To do so, please contact us at info@batonmusic.nl
Change or review of information
If you would like to review, change or delete personal data we have collected from you or you had submitted please contact us at info@batonmusic.nl. Baton Music will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
Protection of personal data
Baton Music takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. The software, tools and systems we use are protected according to the requirements of current legislation and regulations.

Service Providers
Our website hosting platform is based in the Netherlands. This provider is GDPR compliant.
Currently, we do not partner nor sub-contract with anyone who processes information on our behalf outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
Information about you will be kept secure and it will not be supplied to anyone else, unless we are obliged or permitted by law to disclose it. We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information supplied by you to any third party.
When orders are distributed, subscribers’ personal data (names and addresses) are sent to our mailing partner such as DHL or DPD via a secure server. All our mailing partners are GDPR compliant.
These third parties have access to your personal data only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Termination
As mentioned, you may at any time review or change the personal information we maintain about you by contacting Baton Music. Upon your request, we will delete your contact information and personal data from our active databases.
This Privacy Policy is effective until terminated by either party. If you no longer agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, you must cease the use of Baton Music’s services. If you are dissatisfied with Baton Music or any of these terms, conditions and policies, your sole legal remedy is to discontinue using the services. Baton Music reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to and use of the services without notice, if we believe, in our sole discretion that such use is in violation of any applicable law, or harmful to our interests or the interests of another person or entity, or where Baton Music has reasons to believe that their use is in violation of this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use.
Children’s Privacy
Baton Music does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our records.
Changes to this Policy
Baton Music reserves the rights to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your use of the services after any such amendment or change in the Privacy Policy shall be deemed as your express acceptance to such amended/changed Privacy Policy and an assent to be bound by such changed/amended Privacy Policy. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy and the use of the website are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. The parties undertake to first try to resolve the dispute with by negotiation. If the parties fail to reach an amicable resolution through negotiation, Baton Music agrees to submit the dispute to the competent Court of the Netherlands.
